The Currency of Attention

Since the big event that rocked our world occurred, it is as if the collective consciousness has been ignited into a deep introspection, one that feels almost like a lingering spiritual depression layered atop our personal everyday struggles. There seems to be a sense of confusion, a disorientation of direction, forcing people deeper into their own solitude, a solitude that feels difficult to express. It has become apparent that life no longer fits together in the way it once did.
My notion is that many are experiencing a multidimensional shedding, and its effect on everyday life is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. The systematic approaches of our functional lives feel more and more limited by the higher standards of survival. Where we once marvelled at the philosophy of evolution, it now seems to be the very thing we are collectively questioning.
We all have a life position in which we exist, and at the moment, I am noticing that there seems to be a bigger force driving the bus, that is, the currency of attention, and I see that as the true battle at large. Where is our attention being influenced, directed, or managed?
Within the psyche, the breakdown of systemic personality reactive mechanisms, the former paradigm of the convoluted self, is now questioning the root of all attention we give and where we place it in our lives. Therefore, we are noticing more attention deficits, the lack of knowing where to connect our focus, leading us to emotionally and cognitively question our commitment to attention. We are becoming more fragmented, pulled in multiple directions, yet not anchoring to anything as trustworthy and dependable as it once seemed to be.
The basis of time is the currency of attention, and that is the very thing we are internally at war with at the moment, collectively. The challenge now is how we can shut down the confusion that is creating this attention deficit and rediscover the centre point of our existence within once again.
So where are you fighting for attention and in deficit and what is it that you are directing your attention toward? Written by Aliki Protected by Copywrite
