The Layers of Grief
Coping with Loss in a faced paced, ever changing world.

Grief requires space and empathy for a person to not feel rushed to express. Many often feel that they are not allowed to feel or share or express their grief due to their lives simply not having the room to do so. It can be an inconvenience to those around them that require you to feel up all or the time, or having to be engaging or interested in things that others are. However, you simply may not be interested in the things that once interested you.
Often the world doesn't feel as though your sadness and loss matters and this is part of the deep layers that make up grief. The processing of grief is not a set path that everyone follows. There are different types of grief and different layers of grief. The grief of losing a parent is different from the grief of losing a best friend.
